I remember September 11th, 2001 like it was yesterday. It was a very dark morning when we received news about the Twin Towers. All the students in my NYC high school were escorted to the gymnasium and we were told of what had happened. Old enough to understand but still in shock there was a sudden panic amongst the students, many of our parents worked downtown. The hours in that day felt like years as we waited for loved ones to be accounted for. That day will never be forgotten and neither will the strength and spirit of New York City.
On September 15, 2017, 16 years later I had an amazing opportunity to experience The Priceless Table hosted by MasterCard and Citigroup at the One World Observatory. The tallest building in the western hemisphere this grand structure has the most magnificent views. Not only were the views beautiful, so was the meal by Iron Chef Marc Forgione! Fun fact, he grew up in Bellerose just like me! Enjoy some pictures from that beautiful evening below.
